We’re happy to announce that the 24-Hour Animation Contest is back by popular demand! If you have not heard about it, this contest began as an annual event at California State University, Long Beach. Last year, the contest went national and 8 schools participated.
Any student can join! All you need is a faculty or student leader willing to give you 24-hour access to your lab/classroom. You will have 24-hours when the contest starts to produce a 30-second short.
Here are some details:
The official date is: Sept. 27-28
5 students per team
Must be a current students
Prizes will be awarded to winning teams
(past sponsors include DreamWorks, Disney, Nickelodeon, CTN, Toon Boom and Digicel)
We would like to get a feel for how many students/ teams will be competing so we request that you register your team by Sept. 20th. So start thinking about who you want on your kick-ass team!
send an email (one per team please) to firstname.lastname@example.org with:
1. the names of all 5 team members
2. your official team name
3. The school you are fro
