Grant Information
ASIFA-Hollywood’s Animation Educators Forum Faculty Grants are designed to support educators with reasonable expenditures associated with research, scholarly activity, or personal creative projects in the field of animation.
Selection Criteria
The ASIFA-Hollywood’s Animation Educators Forum Faculty Grant Selection Committee will be composed of members of the AEF Steering Committee as well as other qualified academic staff and industry professionals. The following criteria will be considered when evaluating the applications:
- Effectiveness of written proposal.
- Quality of supporting documents included with the proposal.
- Record of professional and/or scholarly achievement.
- Contributions to the animation community at large.
Awards
Awards
Awards will range from US $100 to a maximum of US $5,000 per recipient. Expenditures must occur for the year running from July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025.
Eligibility
All ASIFA-Hollywood’s Animation Educators Forum members are eligible for Faculty Grants. To become an AEF member, simply send an email to aef_facultygrants@animationeducatorsforum.org to request membership. There is no cost to become a member, but please include your resume or a brief biography as proof of your full-time or adjunct faculty status.
Applications open on Monday, April 8, 2024, and must be submitted online before Friday, May 24, 2024, at 11:59pm PST. Recipients will be announced in June 2024.
