Faculty Grant Program
ASIFA-Hollywood’s Animation Educator’s Forum Faculty Grants are designed to provide support for educators with reasonable expenditures associated with research, scholarly activity, or personal creative projects in the field of animation. Awards can range from US$100 to a maximum of US$5,000 per applicant.
The ASIFA-Hollywood’s Animation Educators Forum Grant Selection Committee will be comprised of members of the AEF Steering Committee as well as other qualified academic staff and industry professionals. The following criteria will be considered when evaluating the applications:
- Effectiveness of written proposal
- Quality of supporting documents included with the proposal
- Record of professional or scholarly achievement
- Contributions to the animation community at large.
All ASIFA-Hollywood’s Animation Educators Forum members are eligible for Faculty Grants. To become an AEF member, simply send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to request membership. There is no cost to become a member, but please include your resume or biography as proof of your full-time or adjunct faculty status.
Applications must be submitted online before Sunday, April 24th, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. PST.
Recipients will be announced in May 2021 for the 2021-22 American academic year.
